For over four decades, Steve and Ruth Maranto have filled MARANTO’S with love, joy, laughter, great food and even better company. From birthday parties to New Year's celebrations, tens of thousands have gathered together right here, to create their own Maranto's memories.
From a Wesleyan Mission Chapel to a skating academy, this Grade II listed building has served Lark Lane and its surrounding community since the early 1900s. the upstairs bar is from Altrincham Town Hall, the cast iron railings were salvaged from Preston Railway Station and, if you're up for a good story, ask one of THE staff about the Tiffany lamps...
With daughter Anna and her husband Joe leading Maranto's biggest refurbishment to date in 2026, this family-run, family restaurant and bar continues to bring people together around a table to eat good food, raise a glass, catch up or simply spend time with the ones we love.
