Suono: A Brand New Liverpool Listening Bar For The Sound
Meet Suono, a listening bar dedicated to sound. Open your ears to something new, take a trip down memory lane or groove deep into the night. A sound-centric space designed to put music centre stage, so you can experience it how it was supposed to sound.
Inspired by Tokyo’s legendary kissaten and the global hi-fi bar movement, Suono blends analogue warmth with modern minimalism. Expect rare Japanese whiskies, yuzu-spiked cocktails and records played with intention — not background noise.
The visionary behind this concept is Mike Girling, whose passion for refined spaces and sonic purity is also reflected in L’Aperitivo, the retro-futuristic Italian-inspired cocktail lounge located on ground level. Together, the two venues become one — an expertly curated journey from early evening to early morning, redefining nightlife in Liverpool.
The interiors, designed by the interior architects R2A, are next-level. Acoustically tuned, low-lit and effortlessly cool. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to stay all night and hear every note.
We at Redefine built the brand identity to match. Visual language, tone of voice, signage and storytelling. All designed to amplify Suono’s distinct vibe and philosophy.
This isn’t just another bar. It’s a new kind of venue — for the sound.
